The Max It Pawn shop on Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis sustained significant damage. This retail building was destroyed by fires that occurred in the aftermath of the May 25th, 2020 death of George Floyd. The storefront, with its broken windows and charred interior, reflects the widespread property damage experienced by businesses in the urban core during the period of civil unrest.
