An O'Reilly Auto Parts store on Nicollet Avenue in South Minneapolis burns on May 30, 2020, as heavy smoke rises above the block. The fire occurred during the unrest that followed the killing of George Floyd, when numerous commercial properties in Minneapolis were damaged or destroyed. Parked vehicles line the street in the foreground, including one marked with the words “PEOPLE NOT PROFIT.”
