A banner reading "Rest In Power Amir Locke" is displayed on the exterior of the former Minneapolis Police Third Precinct building. The banner was erected following the death of Amir Locke, who was killed by police during a no-knock warrant execution in February 2022. The Third Precinct building was a site of significant protest activity in 2020 after the murder of George Floyd and was subsequently vacated by the Minneapolis Police Department.
