The building's Gothic Revival brickwork and arched window openings mark it as a former neighborhood church, a common sight in Milwaukee's older residential districts where congregations built substantial masonry sanctuaries in the early 20th century. Many such structures were later repurposed as theaters, event spaces, or left vacant as congregations merged or relocated. The "Jesus Saves" neon cross mounted on its exterior is a design common to urban mission and revival churches from the mid-1900s, meant to be legible to passersby day and night.
