A sign reading "Historic George Floyd Memorial" is displayed at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis. The square, formerly known as the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, became a focal point for protests following the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. The area has since been transformed into a space of remembrance and community activism. This memorial serves as a constant reminder of the events that transpired and the ongoing calls for racial justice.
