Graffiti covers the exterior of a parking ramp in Uptown Minneapolis, the site where Winston Smith was killed by law enforcement on June 3rd. The messages, including "FUCK AMERICA THE KILLING NEEDS TO STOP" and "STOLEN LIVES ON STOLEN LAND," reflect the anger and grief following Smith's death. Smith, a Black man, was killed by officers from the Hennepin and Ramsey County Sheriff's Offices, who were part of a Federal Task Force serving a warrant at the time. The graffiti serves as a public memorial and a protest against police brutality and racial injustice.
