Freewheel Bike operates a shop location along the Midtown Greenway, a converted rail corridor that runs roughly five miles through south Minneapolis. The building also carries signage for the Midtown Bike Center, which has offered repair services, rentals, and secure bike parking for commuters using the trail. The Greenway sits in a former railroad trench built for the Milwaukee Road, later repurposed for bicycle and pedestrian use starting in the 2000s.
