Trump supporters gathered on the streets near the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, held July 15–18 at Fiserv Forum. One sign carried by demonstrators pairs images of a virus with the logos of CNN, Fox News, CBS, ABC News, MSNBC and The New York Times, accusing mainstream and international outlets of spreading misinformation. Participants wore "Stand With Trump" caps and hats reading "Never Surrender," a phrase that circulated widely among Trump supporters following his booking at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia in August 2023. The convention that year formally nominated Donald Trump and running mate JD Vance as the Republican ticket for the 2024 presidential election.
