The 2024 Republican National Convention brought thousands of delegates and visitors to downtown Milwaukee from July 15 to 18, with the Fiserv Forum serving as the main venue. Parking structures near the arena were wrapped with campaign banners reading "America Needs President Trump" and "Make America Great Once Again," alongside a large American flag spanning several stories of a nearby ramp. It was the first time Milwaukee hosted a major party's national convention, part of a broader Republican push for votes in the battleground state of Wisconsin. A flatbed tow truck operated by MK Towing, a local Milwaukee company, is removing a car from the curb near the ramp, a routine enforcement action amid the traffic restrictions put in place for the convention.
