“Save the Earth, Vote Dem” Protest Sign, 2024 RNC Milwaukee

The Fiserv Forum served as the host arena for the 2024 Republican National Convention, held July 15-18 in Milwaukee. Demonstrators gathered along the surrounding streets throughout the convention, with organized marches converging near the arena grounds. Handmade signs like this one, urging climate action and Democratic votes, were common among the mix of groups protesting outside the security perimeter. Milwaukee police and the Secret Service established a multi-block restricted zone around the venue for the duration of the convention.
