Dolal Idd protest at George Floyd Square
Protesters gathered at George Floyd Square in South Minneapolis on January 1, 2021, to demand justice for Dolal Idd. Idd was killed by Minneapolis Police on December 30, 2020, during a traffic stop, marking the first police killing in the city since George Floyd's death in May 2020. The square, located at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and 38th Street, became a focal point for activism and community organizing following Floyd's murder.

Dolal Idd protest at George Floyd Square
Around a thousand protesters gathered outside of the Holiday Gas station at Cedar and 36th in South Minneapolis seeking justice for Dolal Idd. Dolal Idd was shot and killed by Minneapolis Police on December 30th, 2020 during a traffic stop. This was the first police officer killing since George Floyd a mile away on May 25th, 2020. Some marched to George Floyd Square.
