Oi Container Terminal sits along Tokyo Bay in Shinagawa Ward, part of the Port of Tokyo's cargo-handling complex. Ship-to-shore gantry cranes here load and unload container vessels calling at the port, with equipment marked for operators including Evergreen Marine and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line). The Port of Tokyo ranks among Japan's busiest container ports, handling several million TEUs annually and serving as a primary import gateway for the greater Tokyo metropolitan area. Oi is one of several terminals along the bay, alongside Aomi and Shinagawa Pier, that together handle the bulk of the capital's seaborne trade.
