BORTAC agents confront a civilian and media in Minneapolis at Park Avenue and 35th Street on January 12, 2026.
Federal agents in tactical gear, identified as BORTAC, a tactical unit of U.S. Customs and Border Protection leave the scene on Portland Avenue. The agents stopped a Latino man, demanding identification and ramming his vehicle. The man stated he was released after they confirmed his U.S. citizenship. The incident occurred near the location where ICE agents had fatally shot Renee Good just days earlier, on January 7, 2026.
