U.S. Border Patrol agent in tactical gear displays body camera and less-lethal canister during Minneapolis federal immigration
U.S. Border Patrol agent in tactical gear displays body camera and less-lethal canister during Minneapolis federal immigration.

A U.S. Border Patrol agent, identified as part of the BORTAC unit, is equipped with less-lethal munitions and tactical gear. This image was taken on January 12, 2026, in Minneapolis, near Park Avenue and 35th Street. The incident involved federal agents stopping a vehicle and demanding identification from a Latino man who stated he was released after proving his U.S. citizenship. This occurred in close proximity to where ICE agents had previously shot and killed Renee Good on January 7, 2026. Find more photos like this on my Operation Metro Surge: Ice in Minneapolis page.
