Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line in Taito City, Tokyo, is a major access point to the Asakusa district. Entrance 4 provides street-level access to the underground station, which opened in 1934 and is designated G-19 on the Ginza Line. The station connects visitors and commuters with nearby destinations including Sensō-ji Temple and the commercial streets of Asakusa.
