An entrance to Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, designated G-19, serves as a gateway to the historic Asakusa district. The station, which opened in 1934, is a vital transit hub connecting the area's traditional attractions, such as Sensō-ji Temple, with the modern city. The red gateway structure above the tiled stairway reflects a design that aims to harmonize with the surrounding traditional architecture while providing modern wayfinding and access for commuters and visitors.
