Heavy snowfall and riot damage building.

This building at Minnehaha Avenue and East 28th Street in South Minneapolis sustained fire and structural damage during the unrest that followed George Floyd's killing in May 2020. The corner sits within the Longfellow neighborhood, a stretch of Minnehaha Avenue where several storefronts burned or were looted that week. Months later, by November 2020, the structure remained partially collapsed, its ruins boarded and marked with graffiti through the winter.
