This 2013 photograph presents the Minneapolis skyline as viewed from Loring Park. The park, established in the late 19th century, features Loring Pond and is bordered by the Basilica of Saint Mary, a prominent landmark completed in 1926. The Basilica, designed in a Renaissance Revival style, serves as the mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.
