36th and Chicago Re-envisioned April 2022.

A sign at the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago Avenue in Minneapolis announces the "38th & Chicago Re-envisioned" plan, inviting community participation in reshaping the area. This intersection became a focal point during the 2020 Minneapolis Uprising following the murder of George Floyd. The city initiated this planning process to gather feedback and guide future development in the neighborhood, acknowledging its significance as George Floyd Square and its ongoing transformation.
