A "Wince Way" sign, spray-painted with red and white markings, stands near security fencing outside the Lake & Girard parking ramp and Wince Marie Garden in Uptown Minneapolis. The area had been a place of protest after the law enforcement killing of Winston Smith and protester Deona Marie who was killed by a drunk driver while protesting.
