Denver International Airport's B Gates concourse sits below an elevated moving walkway that links the terminal to the airport's three concourses via an underground train system. The airport opened in 1995 on a 53-square-mile site northeast of downtown Denver, making it the largest airport by land area in the United States. Concourse B serves United Airlines, which operates its largest hub at DEN. The train connecting the terminal to the concourses carries passengers through a system that moves tens of millions of travelers annually, as DEN consistently ranks among the busiest airports in the country by passenger volume.
