Downtown Minneapolis near Target Center is lined with digital billboards displaying a “Twin Cities Curfew 10:00 p.m. Please stay home” message on June 2, 2020. The photograph looks down South 7th Street toward the arena, with nearby commercial buildings and largely empty streets under evening light. The warning was posted during the period of curfews imposed after the killing of George Floyd, when officials used roadside signs and billboards to communicate public safety restrictions across the city.
