Thousands of protestors marched near the Hennepin County Government Center in Minneapolis on March 7, 2021. The march occurred the day before the start of jury selection in the trial of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, who was charged with the murder of George Floyd on May 25, 2020. The event was part of ongoing protests against police brutality and racial injustice that followed Floyd's death.
