Government Plaza station in downtown Minneapolis serves Metro Transit Blue and Green Line trains. The platform signage directs riders toward St. Paul and the Mall of America. Plywood barriers were installed around parts of the station area in February 2021 during heightened security measures tied to the Derek Chauvin trial.
