Midtown Greenway Construction at Park Avenue, Minneapolis

Construction is underway for the Midtown Greenway expansion project at the Park Avenue crossing in Minneapolis. The Midtown Greenway is a 5.5-mile-long multi-use trail built on a former railroad corridor, connecting the Mississippi River to the western edge of the city. This corridor was originally established in the late 19th century for freight rail service. The current construction aims to enhance the trail's accessibility and safety, reflecting the ongoing development of urban transportation networks. The presence of tower cranes indicates significant structural work, likely involving bridge modifications or new construction over the trail.
