Artwork covering boards on retail store on Hennepin Ave in Minneapolis. The boards were put up unrest in Minneapolis following the May 25th, 2020 death of George Floyd.
Minneapolis Police closed down portions of the uptown entertainment district after what the police call “Hot rodders” continued to gather in the area. The closures would last several weekends.
The Speedway gas station at 38th and Chicago. The gas station would later become known as “The People’s Way” and become a gathering place for the community twice a day.
