Justice Department Announces New Fraud Charges

On May 21, 2026, the Department of Justice held a press conference in Minneapolis to announce an indictment charging 15 defendants in a fraud case valued at approximately $94 million. The press conference was convened by HHS Secretary Robert F. Aimee Bock, whom the DOJ identifies as the mastermind behind the Feeding Our Future scheme, had just received a 42-year prison sentence for her role in a $240 million fraud involving a federally funded children's meal program.
