Hollywood Theater Seats, Minneapolis, Since 1987

The auditorium seats of the Hollywood Theater, located at 2815 Johnson Street in Minneapolis, remain as a testament to its closure in 1987. Originally opened in 1935, the Streamline Moderne building, now listed on the US National Register of Historic Places, ceased operations due to competition from video rental stores and multiplex cinemas. Despite a developer's acquisition in 2015 with plans for renovation, the theater's interior continues to show signs of disuse and decay.
