Robert Skafte Memorial at Oak Grove Grocery, Minneapolis

A memorial for Robert Skafte stands outside Oak Grove Grocery in the Loring Park area of Minneapolis. Flowers, candles, handwritten messages, and posted notes cover the sidewalk and stair railings in front of the store, where a sign on the door states that the business is closed until further notice. Skafte was fatally stabbed inside the grocery store in 2023, and the memorial marks the location of his death.
