RAILROAD LOGGING This road bed was used for railroad logging from 1898 to 1938. During this boom period, Minnesota had over 2,500 miles of logging railroad tracks, 3,000 cars and 200 locomotives. There is a tale of an old logging locomotive setting intact somewhere in this general area. No one has ever found it. Can you?
