Protesters march down Lagoon Avenue in Minneapolis on the third night of demonstrations following the shooting death of Winston Smith. Smith, who was Black, was killed by officers from a Federal Task Force serving a warrant. The protests that followed his death highlighted ongoing concerns about police conduct and racial justice in the city. Lagoon Avenue is a major commercial and residential street in the Uptown area of Minneapolis.
