Private Security at Minneapolis Gas Station
A private security guard stands by a pickup truck at a gas station on Lake Street in South Minneapolis. The presence of private security was a common sight in the city following the Minneapolis uprising in the summer of 2020, which was sparked by the murder of George Floyd. Lake Street, a major commercial corridor, experienced significant damage and disruption during the unrest, leading many businesses to increase security measures.
