Aurora Borealis Over West 21st Street Station in Minneapolis

A very rare sight as the Northern Lights were visible in the city of Minneapolis in the early evening of November 11, 2025. Shown here above the new West 21st Street light rail train station. The train station is near hidden beach and part of the still under construction Metro Transit green line extension that will connect Eden Prairie to Downtown Minneapolis to St. Paul. The new train line is set to open in 2027.
