Moxy Hotel Sign, Lake Street, Uptown Minneapolis

The Moxy Minneapolis Uptown sits on Lake Street, part of Marriott's Moxy brand aimed at budget-conscious travelers who want style without the frills. Moxy hotels are known for compact rooms, communal lounge spaces, and a design-forward approach that favors bars and social areas over traditional lobbies. The Uptown location places guests near the Chain of Lakes and the neighborhood's dense mix of restaurants and music venues. Marriott launched the Moxy brand in Europe in 2014 before expanding it into U.S. markets, including this Minneapolis property.
