Minneapolis Police officers in riot gear stand outside the Coliseum Building on 27th Avenue South during the second day of protests in Minneapolis. These protests followed the death of George Floyd, which occurred on May 25, 2020. The Coliseum Building, a significant commercial and office structure built in 1917, and the Hennepin County Medical Center East Lake Clinic are visible, with graffiti on the clinic's facade. This area along 27th Avenue South was a key location during the widespread civil unrest in late May 2020, reflecting the community's response to the events.
