Metal detectors at a Minneapolis bar
Walk-through metal detectors are installed at the entrance of Daisys Uptown Bar on Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis. The bar, located in the Uptown neighborhood, implemented enhanced security measures, including metal detectors, following the civil unrest in Minneapolis in the summer of 2020. These detectors are a visible sign of increased security protocols in public venues during periods of heightened social tension.
