Melissa Hortman Memorial at Minnesota State Capitol
A memorial tribute to State Representative Melissa Hortman is displayed on the steps of the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul. Hortman and her husband were assassinated in their home on June 14th, an event that also led to accusations against Vance Boelter for the shooting of State Senator John Hoffman and his wife. The memorial, featuring flowers, candles, and campaign signs, serves as a public expression of grief and remembrance for the fallen representative.
