Fiber art installed on a fence in downtown Minneapolis on February 12, 2020 includes a stitched quotation from Prince’s “Purple Rain.” The work references Prince, the Minneapolis musician whose 1984 song and film are closely associated with the city. The installation appears to be part of a temporary public-art display on Nicollet Mall.
