Reverend Jesse Jackson, a prominent civil rights leader, arrived at the Hennepin County Courthouse in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during the trial of Derek Chauvin. Chauvin was charged in the death of George Floyd, which occurred on May 25, 2020, and sparked widespread protests. The courthouse, officially known as the Hennepin County Government Center, is a significant civic building in downtown Minneapolis.
