Roxie Washington, the mother of George Floyd’s daughter, leaves the Hennepin County Government Center in Minneapolis following the guilty verdict in the trial of Derek Chauvin. Chauvin, a former Minneapolis police officer, was convicted on April 20, 2021, of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter for his role in Floyd's death.
