Riverside Generating Station is a power plant operated by Xcel Energy along the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The facility dates to the early 20th century and has been reconfigured over time from coal-fired generation to natural gas. It functions as part of Xcel Energy's regional electric grid, providing generating capacity for the Minneapolis–St. Paul area.
