This boiler room is part of the former Northern States Power (NSP) generating plant in Granite Falls, Minnesota. Overhead steel pipe runs carried steam and process fluids between boilers, turbines, and auxiliary equipment throughout the structure's multi-level interior. The plant has been decommissioned and no longer operates as an active power generation facility.
