Thousands marched through downtown Minneapolis on January 23, 2026, protesting the presence and actions of federal agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The demonstration occurred amidst severe winter conditions, with temperatures reported at -30°F with windchill. Protesters voiced opposition to what they termed "ICE on ICE violence," a slogan that appeared on one of the signs, and expressed general discontent with federal immigration enforcement policies that had been active in the city since December.
