Minneapolis Protest Against ICE Deployment

Protesters march in downtown Minneapolis holding signs and banners against ICE deployment.
Thousands marched through downtown Minneapolis on January 23, 2026, protesting the federal government's immigration enforcement actions. The demonstration occurred despite frigid temperatures, with windchills reaching -30 degrees Fahrenheit. Protesters carried signs and banners, including one that read "ICE OUT OF MN!" and another that stated "NATIONAL SHUT DOWN THE ICE." The very next day Alex Pretti was shot and killed by federal agents. Find more photos like this on my Operation Metro Surge: Ice in Minneapolis page.
