Hi-Lo Diner at Night, Lake Street Minneapolis

Hi Lo Diner neon sign in South Minneapolis May 2020
Hi Lo Diner neon sign in South Minneapolis May 2020.

The Hi-Lo Diner, a restored 1950s Fodero dining car, glows with neon and interior lighting on East Lake Street in Minneapolis. Originally built in New Jersey, this diner car was transported to Minnesota and refurbished before reopening in 2016. Its stainless-steel exterior and classic mid-century design evoke the golden age of American roadside diners.
