Say Their Names Cemetery, Minneapolis, 2 Years After George Floyd Murder

Say Their Names Cemetery 2 years after George Floyds murder
Say Their Names Cemetery 2 years after George Floyds murder.

The "Say Their Names Cemetery" in Minneapolis commemorates victims of racial injustice and police brutality. Established in the aftermath of George Floyd's murder in 2020, the site features rows of white markers, each bearing the name of a victim and often adorned with flowers and candles. The display serves as a memorial and a call to remembrance, particularly on significant anniversaries like the second year since Floyd's death. The illuminated "SAY THEIR NAMES" message in the background underscores the memorial's purpose to honor and acknowledge those lost.
