Lambeau Field has served as the home of the Green Bay Packers since 1957, making it the oldest stadium still in continuous use in the NFL. Named for Packers founder and longtime coach Curly Lambeau, the stadium now holds more than 81,000 fans following a series of expansions completed in 2013. Its open-air bowl and northern Wisconsin location have earned it the nickname "the Frozen Tundra," a reputation tied to famous cold-weather games including the 1967 Ice Bowl. The Packers are the only publicly owned franchise in the NFL, with shares held by more than 360,000 stockholders, and Lambeau Field remains the centerpiece of the team's year-round operations in Green Bay.
