The McNamara Terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Airport serves as Delta Air Lines' primary hub, one of the airline's largest connecting points in its network. Opened in 2002, the terminal was designed with a curtain-wall structure to give passengers wide views of the airfield from its concourses. Concourse A, visible here, stretches more than a mile and handles the bulk of Delta's mainline and regional traffic at DTW. Ground crews at gates along the concourse handle baggage, catering, and fueling during the turnaround between flights.
