Chris Cuomo discussed his own coronavirus diagnosis with CNN's chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, in an April 2020 segment that aired on the network amid the early weeks of the pandemic. The broadcast appeared on a lobby television at the Marquette Hotel in downtown Minneapolis, part of the Hilton-affiliated property on South Seventh Street near the IDS Center. Cuomo, then a primetime anchor for CNN, quarantined at home after testing positive and returned to reporting on air during his recovery.
