Thrivent Financial Corporate Center anchors this stretch of downtown Minneapolis, its curved glass form designed by Ralph Rapson and completed in 1981 as the headquarters for what was then Lutheran Brotherhood. The tower rises alongside the Accenture Tower, formerly known as the AT&T Tower, a 1991 postmodern high-rise designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.
