Boarded Ace Hardware on Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis

The Frattallone's Ace Hardware store on Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis is boarded up, likely in response to the civil unrest that followed the murder of George Floyd in May 2020. The plywood covering the storefront and the red spray-painted "ACE HARDWARE" graffiti indicate damage or a need for protection. This location, like many businesses in the area, experienced damage during the protests and riots. The presence of the "EXIT" signs and the NFPA 704 hazard diamond on the plywood suggest the store was operational prior to being boarded up.
